Another One of My Favorite Link Building Videos

I seen this video over 4 years ago on WebProNews. One of my favorite quotes found in this video has been engraved into my head since…

“Without Links, nobody finds you. Regardless if the engines are helping you, or not. If Google vanishes tomorrow, you still better have links.”

Eric Ward

Check out the video.

I really only like hearing Eric talk. He’s a real, real linking expert. (I prefer to call him a master link baiting publicist) He’s definitely one of my favorite SEO’s of all time. He’s been the man since before I was getting into SEO in ’05. Everything that guy says is worth hearing.

Because of him, I too am a link building expert. (<–Experiment link since I’m already linking to him above.) Second behind him on Google.

Look out E-Dub. Much respect, but I gotta try :) Maybe I should look into taking EW’s advice..

Old school but still 100% relevant – Pretty awesome that your right behind the person you look up to/learned from in the SERPs.

    Hi James,

What a great video, even though it was made a while back, most things have not changed.
It's amazing how many emails I get about automating. I was glad to hear that it is never a good thing.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge about link building.

Very informative video. Eric Ward's explanations makes a lot of sense.

It is not just about getting links from anywhere but methodology in getting them. And that it is not the link, but the content. Wow!

Great video! Eric Ward is a true master in SEO, I've been following him for a while now and everything he says just seems to make perfect sense. It's not so much about the quantity of the links, but more so the QUALITY.
