Its really hard to be no.1 even after a huge practices by SEO’s. No one knows how google places the sites as 1,2 …. But then also there is some criteria to push the site to even better position.

Trying to simply “game” Google’s algorithm to get a spot on the first page is a frustrating, never-ending game. You can have first page one day and page 47 the next.

Having good content that people want to read and return to for valuable information is the only way to get sustainable traffic. Even this is no guarantee of first page placement.

If your goal is to make money on the web, most people would be better off combining SEO with paid advertising methods so they can develop a sustainable and consistent business. When a cash flow has been developed, more options are available.

The SEO competition in most markets is pretty stiff and can rapidly frustrate a beginning marketer.
