Re-directing User Based on Their Geo-graphical Location in PHP

Ever thought it would be useful to direct users from certain countries or cities to certain geo-specific pages of your website? In this tutorial I’m going to explain how geographical I.P. location works and build a small PHP script with sample code that will direct users to a geo-specific web page based on their IP address.

  4. Certain pages on our site relate or concern only specific people in a particular location. Details relating to Europeon markets do not concern someone in Canada. Your re-directing facility helped us tide this difficulty.

    Just thought I’d let you know that I’m browsing your site on a teeny-weeny netbook screen (using flock browser) and your site looks a bit weird. The Ads are sticking out of the modules. I’m sure it’s just because of the small screen but a lot of people are browsing with netbooks these days so perhaps you should look into it.
