SEO Specialist is responsible for assisting with research and development and executing search engine optimization campaigns for clients. This position requires working closely with the Director of Search Marketing, clients, webmasters, accountants and other team members.
The ideal candidate has experience with web SEO & link Building, effectively works under high levels of pressure, consistently produces results and has the ability to adapt to team’s success beyond the scope of their SEO responsibilities.
This position involves:
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN SEO SPECIALIST:
- Ability to Manage Various SEO Marketing Campaigns
- Analyzes Client Products and Web Site Traffic
- Advanced Understand of Google, Yahoo and MSN’s Search Algorithms
- Assist Marketing Coordinator with Internet Marketing/SEO Support & Advice
- Designing SEO Campaigns with Growth Plans for Maximum Search Engine Exposure
- Successful Directory Submitting with High Approval Percentages
- Developing and Executing SEO Strategies for Maximum ROI
- Optimizing Landing Pages for the Search Engines
- Provide Suggestions on PPC Bid Prices Based on Organic Rankings
- Evaluating Website Copy for SEO Effectiveness
- Executing Link Building Campaigns
- Keyword Research for Organic Search Listings
- Meta Tag Development and Creation
- Writing and/or Reviewing Articles, Press Releases, Ebooks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of SEO and/or internet advertising experience
- 2+ years of web SEO marketing experience
- 1+ year analytics experience
- Proven SEO success (Must be able to explain involvement)
- Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to clearly articulate verbally goals and ideas to webmasters and clients.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and online shopping a plus
- Experience with pay-per-click a plus
- HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript experience a plus
