The 1st Page of Google for “SEO Blog” Pt.2
Hey guys, in my last post about the 1st page of Google for SEO blog, I took a snapshot of the 1st page of Google for the term SEO blog and pointed out a couple things I noticed about the competition. One thing I mentioned was how dynamic the 1st page of Google was/is. Well, here’s proof; snapshots of Google’s 1st page for the keyword “SEO blog” over the past 4 days.

Every single day the results change. In fact, according to my SERP tracker, my site has seen the 1st page a couple times in the last few weeks. I’ll catch it one day and snapshot it.
Remember how aggressive I was saying the competition was being when they only had “SEO blog” in their title tags..? It looks like it’s working, no? Sometimes it pays to be aggressive in the SEO world. But doesn’t it seem like the title tags should be used to distinguish your site from the rest and to allure clicks?

I think website with high authority, and loads of indexed pages will get revisted more often by Google, this will cause Google to constantly update it's index for these type of websites. I have notcied it for news websites as well.

Very surprising results, certainly didn't expect the rankings to change by the day, in my experience the rankings tend to remain fairly static month on end. Perhaps these particular results are being frequently crawled by Google.

Great to see that at least some people are providing honest advise about backlinking and the terminology. Too many sites are really pushing people down the wrong path giving bad advise. Keep it up. Backlinking, whilst a very straigt forward subject to understand is full of mine fields – Just remember a few good backlinks are worth much more than hundreds of poor quality links so be careful.

I saw the same thing on my yahoo, I sitting in the number two on google. But some days I have yahoo is in first place then others will not even front page. Great work on how these positions change every day.
This really good. I like this as my website's ranking in yahoo was at second count but in Google it was in the first place that proved very beneficial to me. You have done an amazing job.
